Image Analysis Board ECT has developed a highly versatile Image Analysis Board as the basis for all of our chip development. The Image Analysis Board is intended to act as a flexible development system for all image-processing tasks. The Board allows a licensee to custom tailor optical feature tracking applications for the loading of different logic files into a large FPGA to simulate a Gate Array. These files include different software modules that can track virtually any object, determine it’s speed, velocity, and a number of other factors. A DSP is also used to prototype new functions before they are converted to logic. This hardware solution is then paired with a Software Driver Developers Kit (SDDK) in order to take full advantage of the system’s abilities. The SDDK provides the link and protocol for the transfer of processed data over USB to the host computer where it is interpreted and then transferred to the intended host application. OEM Development Procedure ECT will supply the OEM with a Software Development Kit, an Image Analysis Board, and a dedicated engineering team to handle all of the desired customizations to the board.
